Patty Blount

PATTY BLOUNT works as a technical trainer by day and novelist by night. Dared by her 13-year-old son to try fiction, Patty wrote her first manuscript in an ice rink. A short version of her debut novel, Send, finished in the top ten of the Writer's Digest 79th Annual Writing Competition. Her 2014 release, SOME BOYS, was a 2015 Firecracker Award winner and a Rita Award finalist. Her 2018 release, SOMEONE I USED TO KNOW, took home Athena Awards for Best YA Contemporary and Best of the Best at this year's RWA conference.
